What we need: A full-time Community Lifestyle Director for an onsite community in Apollo Beach, FL.

What You’ll Do: As a Community Lifestyle Director, you will plan, promote and oversee community events in a growing HOA community! This position has flexible hours that includes nights, weekends and holidays. You will help our communities thrive and be vibrant places to live. We want you to love where you work!

Essential functions include:

  • Plans, promotes, and executes a robust annual calendar of activities, classes, sports, health programs, group fitness, and special events
  • Builds partnerships and sponsorships with local businesses and organizations
  • Recruits and organizes volunteers
  • Oversees schedules for facilities
  • Creates and executes a strategic communications plan
  • Maintains the community website
  • Produces and edits the community newsletter
  • Manages annual budget for activities
  • Conducts new homeowner orientations and serves as a local resource for homeowners

 

Requirements

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the following areas:

  • Professional event planning
  • Website administration
  • Newsletter production
  • Running social media campaigns
  • Experience with Active Adult Programming preferred
  • Strong leadership, time management and program management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface effectively with board of directors, homeowners, builder sales associates and community partners
  • PC Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft office programs. Constant Contact experience a plus.
  • Ability to set, manage and persuasively communicate clear goals and objectives
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift repetitively up to 25 lbs.
